An anime/comic/manga convention in Leeds that's like the cutest thing ever I went in my Sunstreaker costume again, getting some really cool comments about it! Having said that, quite a few people thought I was Bumblebee, including this 5-year-old kid who I didn't have the heart to tell I wasn't xDDDD

I went and searched out Leigh Gallagher, an artist =thedreamwolf said would be there, and made a donation towards the *DrawTheWorldTogether charity, and he did me a bust sketch of Tak for me in his style, which I'm freaking and spazzing over After which, I signed up for the cosplay competition before me, Tina, Andy and Caitlin went for a wander around the con stands 'ooh'ing and 'ahh'in over everything.

The cosplay competition was at about half-2, and partway through Caitlin had to go home, so Tina and Andy left to see her off. They came back, dropped my stuff off and told me they were going home as well, because they needed to. I told them alright, and hung around for the rest of the evening at the competition. I made friends with a couple other cosplayers, a group who were doing Ace Attorney. We hung around together for the judging (unfortunately I didn't win anything ) and then they offered up the chance to go to Pizza Express with them. We spent a great time in P.E. chatting, joking, cracking stupid voices and discussing future cosplays. I think we decided on a Sonic gijinka

Afterwards they gave me a lift to the bus station (with obligatory Caramell Dansen...ing!)before they set off back to Middlesborough... I really hope I see them again, we had such a fantastic time!


I also bought the new Cosplay Fever, a book that catalogues photos of Britians csoplayers from the biggest conventions. Guess whose Jazz costume got in this one and whose Sunstreaker costume today got her a page in the next one?! Only thing is, I'm really bummed about Towa not being in the book... her Prowl stayed in one piece, at least!
